TOEFL – Exam Preparation Overview

What is TOEFL?

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) conducted by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) evaluates the candidate's proficiency in the English language in the areas of reading, speaking, listening, and writing. The Test is taken by non-native English speakers who want to pursue their studies in international institutions.

TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test) is the commonly chosen format of the TOEFL test, and the scores are accepted by educational institutions in more than 150 nations worldwide. The Test is administered all year long, and the score validity is two years. The candidate can take the Test as often as they want, with a gap of 12 days after each. The Test has no cut-off marks; however, the candidate must check the score requirement of the university to which they are applying.
